Veo
In one line: Let your UnleashX agent create short AI videos from a written prompt — or animate a still image into video.
1. Overview
Veo is Google’s video-generation model (via the Gemini API). Describe the scene you want in words and it produces a short video; provide a starting image and it can animate that image into motion. Once connected, your agent can generate text-to-video and image-to-video clips, pick an aspect ratio (vertical, square, or wide), and get back a ready-to-share video URL. Generated videos are stored to UnleashX’s media storage and returned as a link. Connecting Veo to UnleashX means your agents can turn a campaign idea or a product photo into a video asset on demand — no editing software, no render farm, no manual export.2. What you’ll need
Veo is built into UnleashX. There is no Google Cloud or Gemini account for you to create and no API key for you to manage.
- An active UnleashX account.
- The Veo / video-generation feature enabled on your workspace/plan.
- A clear text prompt (and, for image-to-video, a starting image by URL, path, or base64).
- Permission to edit the agent (admin or editor role). Without it, ask a workspace admin to enable the feature.
3. Get your credentials
There are no credentials to create. Veo is platform-managed — UnleashX provisions and rotates the underlying Google Gemini key and handles media storage. You never see or handle an API key.
4. Connect on UnleashX
1
Open your agent
Go to https://www.tryunleashx.com and open the agent that should generate video.
2
Open Data Connectors
In the agent, click Data Connectors.
3
Find Veo and add it
Locate Veo and click Connect / Add. It’s platform-managed — no key to paste, it activates immediately.
4
Confirm it's connected
The Veo tool should now show a Connected badge.
Use Veo in a Workflow
Once connected, you can add Veo to any automation from the Workflows builder. Its triggers and tools appear in the Apps panel, marked with an MCP badge.1
Add a trigger or action node
Open Workflows → New Workflow. On the canvas, click + Add Trigger (or the + below any node) to add a step.

2
Pick Veo from the Apps panel
In the Paths panel, open the Apps tab and select Veo. Use the search box if you have many connectors.

3
Choose a trigger or tool
Pick the trigger or action you want. Configure its fields — required fields are marked with a red asterisk (*).
4
Add or select your account
Under Selected account, choose an already-connected account, or click Add Account to connect one now.
5
Save and test
Fill in the remaining fields and click Save. Use Test to verify the step, then toggle Publish when the workflow is ready.
The steps are the same for every connector. For the full workflow builder guide, see Using MCP in Workflows.
5. Available tools
The generate tools are marked ✏️ Yes because they create a new video file and save it to UnleashX media storage. They do not modify or delete any existing data.
6. Example usage
“Make a 9:16 video of a coffee cup steaming on a rainy windowsill.” → Runs Generate Video with that prompt and a vertical aspect ratio, returning a video URL. “Take this product photo and turn it into a slow zoom-in clip.” → Runs Image to Video with the image and a motion prompt.7. Permissions & data access
UnleashX can:- Send your prompt (and optional image) to Veo and generate a video.
- Save the generated video to UnleashX media storage and return a link.
- Generate video from content you don’t provide.
- Edit or delete videos you created elsewhere.
- Access your device or cloud storage on its own.
8. Troubleshooting
For general connector issues, see /mcp/integrations.
9. Frequently asked questions
Is my prompt or image stored? The generated video is saved to UnleashX media storage so you can access it. Your input image is used to generate the clip and is not retained as part of the integration. Do I need a Google or Gemini account? No. Veo is platform-managed — UnleashX provides and rotates the underlying key. What aspect ratios are supported? Common shapes including vertical (9:16), square (1:1), and wide. The default is vertical. How long does generation take? Usually under a few minutes, depending on length and complexity. The tool can run synchronously and return the final URL.10. References
